The official MeshCore channels for our Western New York network across the 716.

Scan a QR code with the MeshCore app, tap Open in MeshCore app on your phone, or copy the name and key to add a channel manually.

🎯 Set Each Channel's Region Scope

Every scoped channel uses the matching region from our repeater region list. For example, #na is scoped to na, and #wny is scoped to wny. Scoping keeps traffic inside the area it is meant for instead of flooding every repeater in range.

After adding a channel

  1. Open the channel on your companion.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner.
  3. Select "Set Region Scope", then tap the +.
  4. Type the region scope shown on that channel's card below (also in the summary table).
  5. Repeat for each scoped channel.

Good to know

  • Public and #emergency stay unscoped, so they reach every repeater.
  • A scoped message only floods through repeaters that have that region loaded. Repeater operators: load the full list from How to Apply.
  • The region scope is set per channel on your companion. It is not part of the QR code, so set it after scanning.
